Converse University’s Twichell Auditorium

Built in 1899 and renovated in 1989, Twichell has 1,500 seats and a 57-rank Casavant Freres organ with 2,600+ pipes. The auditorium is home to the Converse University Petrie School of Music concerts and operas, Converse convocations and special events, and also regularly welcomes community groups such as the Spartanburg Philharmonic Orchestra and Ballet Spartanburg for their performances.
